On a daily basis the Test.com domain receives hundreds of reports concerning the misuse of its Test.com domain name.

These misuses are outside of the control of Test.com. Such misuses include:

   • Anyone who sends emails and puts test.com in the return address as the sender of SPAM.

   • Anyone who visits a blog or ecommerce site and uses an email like joe@test.com.

   • Originators of bulk e-mail, and hackers who forge Test.com as the sender of SPAM.

   • Organizations who while building their web sites, use the Test.com URL while testing the web site.

Many of the individuals who contact Test.com about such abuses of Test.com are obviously concerned, but Test.com is in the business of providing online and enterprise assessment and survey technology, Test.com is not in the business of misusing the internet including SPAMing the general public.

THINK: If we were sending out SPAM, why would we use our return address if we could forge another address? AND: Most SPAMers are selling products that have nothing to do with what our business offers. Why would we send SPAM for products we don't sell?

TEST.COM DOESN'T SEND ANY SPAM!

We can NOT control what other people forge in an email return address header and send using thier computers. We can NOT stop any SPAM you might be receiving. Even if test.com is in the email's return address, it's NOT coming from us and NOT routing or coming through our systems.

If you have questions concerning our products and services refer to our ask a question form.
